Stroke Of The Week
COVID 19 - HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES & PROCEDURES
This season, “Stroke Of The Week” sessions will be offered 3 times per week on the Wednesdays.
First session: Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Second session: Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Third session: Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Please register online by filling out your name and contact information. Please note that players less then 18 will not be allowed to participate. Sessions with less than four participants will be cancelled on the Tuesday evening at the latest. We will go by the honor system so please refrain from removing any name from one session to add your own name to the list.
Ratio of 4 participants per coach with a maximum of 8 participants (2 coaches).
There will be a $10.00 fee per session. Registration & payment to be done online. We will not be accepting any cash until further notice. Please send an e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your spot will officially be booked once the payment has been received.
Registration Deadline - Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m. For example: A member must register for June 24th’s session by noon on Tuesday June 23rd.
The club will supply balls for the sessions. We ask that members wear gloves to pick the balls up. Coaches will also wear gloves during the sessions. It is the only way to minimize contact with the balls.
Please wash your hands before and after the sessions. Every person is responsible for their own safety. Use hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, masks at your own discretion. If you are showing any symptoms, please return home or refrain from coming to the club. Counselors will ensure that social distancing measures are reinforced throughout the session.
WHAT IS STROKE OF THE WEEK?
Each week, instructors will concentrate on the fundamentals of one specific tennis stroke or strategy, such as backhand, forehand, volley, serve etc. Participants will improve these skills through participation in games and drills. To cap it off, all lessons will be accompanied by CARDIO TENNIS DRILLS.
